Component Description
Precision Hall‑Effect Current Sensor – 0 to 30 A, High Accuracy
This compact sensor converts the magnetic field around a current‑carrying conductor into a low‑frequency voltage output. Built around a high‑temperature, low‑noise Hall‑effect chip and precision signal‑conditioning circuitry, it delivers accurate, galvanically isolated current measurement without the need for intrusive shunt resistors or direct electrical contact.
Ideal for battery management, power supplies, motor drives, and control electronics, the sensor offers wide bandwidth (up to 1 kHz), negligible distortion, and a highly linear response over its full range. Its low power consumption (<30 mW) and small PCB footprint make it straightforward to integrate into both prototyping and production designs.
- Key Spec 1: ±0.5 % accuracy over 0 – 30 A range
- Key Spec 2: 0 – 1 kHz bandwidth with <0.01 % harmonic distortion
- Key Spec 3: <30 mW total power dissipation, 3.3 V / 5 V supply compatible
- Common Use Case: Voltage‑controlled current source monitoring in battery chargers and industrial PLCs
