Robotic Arm 4DOF

High‑Precision 4‑Axis Servomotor Robot Arm Kit – Build, Program, and Automate

Designed for rapid prototyping and educational use, the Robotic Arm Kit features six high‑torque brushed servos mounted on precision aluminum shafts, giving it full 4‑DOF motion with repeatable positioning within 0.1°. The kit is fully modular, with optional adapter boards that support both PWM and CAN‑bus interfaces, allowing seamless integration into existing controller ecosystems or custom FPGA boards. Built for durability, each joint incorporates a dual‑stage backlash‑free bearing system and thermal‑insulated gearing that minimizes drift under load.

Software is provided via an open‑source firmware repository, complete with real‑time calibration routines and Python bindings for motion scripting. The arm’s built‑in PID control loops provide 1 ms resolution, ensuring smooth acceleration profiles at up to 0.5 kg·cm per joint, perfect for low‑to‑medium payload tasks. With a max payload of 1.5 kg and a reach of 300 mm, this kit strikes a balance between size, precision, and functionality, making it ideal for robotics classrooms or small‑scale automated pick‑and‑place systems.

• Key Spec 1: 4 Degrees of Freedom (4 DOF) with 0.5–1.0 kg·cm torque per joint
• Key Spec 2: Closed‑loop current control, ±1 A limit, 1 ms resolution PID loops
• Key Spec 3: Dual interface support: PWM (≤1 kHz) or CAN‑bus (ISO 11898-2)
• Common Use Case: Educational robotics labs, hobby automation, and lightweight pick‑and‑place production lines
